My grandfather Shankar ran this tea stall in Parel for forty-two years. He died twelve days ago.

Today a notice came. Nana owed Seth Mehta, the moneylender, and ₹3,000 is due Friday night at 3 AM. If you can't pay, the stall comes down.

You have five monsoon nights to raise it, one cup at a time.

WHAT YOU DO

- Listen to your regulars. A truck driver saving for his daughter's birthday. A call-centre girl whose CA exam and marriage visit fall on the same morning. A shoe-shine boy who should be in school. A policeman with a bag he wants you to keep.

- Decide who you help, and what you'll do for the money.
